Sorrells Wine Racks
Pre 2004 Sorrells Wine Racks had a very low profile on the internet. Their site was essentially 5 pages about the company and not much about the products. It received only a small amount of traffic. Webease were contracted to revamp the site to make it more prominent on the web. This was done and Sorrells started to get a steady number of contacts through the site.
Sorrells, as a company, started an ongoing expansion with new product lines and services.
As a result of this expansion, the Sorrell's site was completely reworked in Nov-Dec 2004 to provide a clean search-engine friendly web site that was even more focussed on promoting the products. The site contained Flash mini apps. to enable wine racks to be designed on-line. This upgrade resulted in a doubling of daily internet traffic and marked improvement in the quality of the contacts and orders received via the web. This was as a direct result of improved visibility on Google and Yahoo! for competitive terms like 'wine racks'.
Sorrells have continued to expand at a fantastic rate and the web site has continued to be developed and expanded to match. The most recent changes to the site layout were completed in July 07.
The site consistently receives over 100 visitors/day and over 87% of this comes from the search engines with 75% coming from Google.
